"Wise mature deep voiced storyteller"

James has been described as a “wise deep-voiced story-teller. Because that is what he is, and loves to do. Raised on radio broadcasts of play by play sounds of the late great voice of the Detroit Tigers, Ernie Harwell, James would call the play by play of pickup softball games during public school recess in his hometown of the border town of Sault Ste Marie!

He entered the radio business at the tender age of 17 and spent a 35+ year career in broadcasting both radio and television. Reporting, writing, producing and anchoring newscasts before switching to the home audio booth, where he now helps clients tell their stories in simple, but passionate and emotive narrative as a voice-over artist.

Residing near Toronto, Ontario, James and his wife Tracy love to read, learn and travel. While spending as much quality time with their family including two grown children, two grandsons and a grand-daughter. Oh, and their two lovely cats Polythene Pam and Sweet Loretta Martin.
